Description

I made this as a gift to my friend Ziole
I finally finished this after using waaay more time than I'd planned on it!

It's made by doing a very rough sketch at first, and then with help from some friends, and art groups on the app Telegram, I got it corrected several times, which made it far better than what I originally had.
I've used several reference pictures, but none with the exact pose and look.

I personally love it, and in all honesty, I think this is my best artwork to this date!
I'm so proud of myself, I never thought I'd ever actually succeed in doing a real painting!

I made this as a greyscale, and then I did several colored versions on top of that:

Which one do you like better?

Would you be interested in a commission like this?
It would be made to fit your character of course! :)

Hi there, this is :iconprojectcomment:'s tagline.
My word is "fur" and I can't find a more fitting one :D
This is not what I would call "realistic", but I think it very mesmerizing. I like how the tiger seems to have emotions of its own and the way it stares at the viewer seems to suggest a determined personality (even though it's an animal). The shading is also excellent and gives the painting a lot of depth. It almost feels like it's coming out of the screen to get me, lol. As far as drawing programs can get, it would be great if you can make the fur a bit more realistic, because I think it looks a bit... groomed here. Also, I think it looks a bit too cute for a tiger :P and making it a bit more menacing would be nice. I would also recommend making its eyes stand out more.
The tagline ends here. Have a good day!
